Robert Talbott National Moto Tour - 13,419 miles over 6 Legs
Robb Talbott and Bob Corliss set off on the first leg of their nearly year long nationwide moto tour to visit some of our top customers. The two avid motorcyclists took to the road via BMW GS 1150 Adventure motorcycles to begin the first leg of their tour. They departed from our corporate headquarters in Monterey, CA.
Leg 1 - Heading south & back to Monterey - 1,012 miles
Completed in 1937 and originally named the Theodore Roosevelt Highway, Highway 1 runs along some of the most beautiful coastlines in the USA, leading to its designation as an All-American Road. Pictured here is the Bixby Bridge, the most photographed bridge in the world.

Leg 2 - The Road to Dallas - 2,276 miles
Hot spot: Santa Fe, New Mexico, known to attract artist and writers for the cultural richness of the area, the beauty of the landscapes and its dry climate.

Leg 3 Dallas to Atlanta - 2,287 miles

Leg 3 Hot Spots:
The Barber Motorsport Museum: Opened by George Barber in 1994 with his personal collection of over 1200 vintage motorcycles.
Natchez Trace: A historical 2 lane parkway that extends roughly 440 miles from Natchez, MS to Nashville, TN. The path is considered an
All-American Road.
Leg 4 - Atlanta to New York - 1,450 miles
Hot Spot: Tail of the Dragon
Famous for having 318 curves in 11 miles, is America’s number one motorcycle and sports car road. The highway has no intersecting roads, no houses with driveways, and no businesses making it a speed destination. There have been over 30 deaths on the road since 1995.

Leg 5 - New York, Toronto, then Denver - 3,027 miles
"The fifth leg of Moto Tour 2012 started out on a trip from NJ to Greenwich to meet the team at Mitchell's. The guys had a bite with Scott Mitchell and his Brand X tie! We left after having lunch with David and Lauren and headed to upstate NY to spend the night. Leg 5 Hot Spot #1: Memphis, TN
Home of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.

The Mississippi River
The chief river of the largest river system in the North America. The river runs through 10 states. Water skiing was invented on the river between Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Leg 6: Denver to Monterey - 3,367 Miles
"After Estes Park we entered Rocky Mountain State Park. About 1 hour later we arrived in Steamboat Springs for the night. Great day, very scenic, aspens turning color, and passed over Trail Ridge at about 12,200 feet! Weather was clear all day but cooler at the high elevations...will have to use warmer gear the rest of the time in the mountains."

Leg 6 Hot Spots
Teton National Park: Approximately 310,000 acres including the 40-mile long Range. Named after the tallest mountain in the Teton Range, the Grand Teton.
Yellowstone: was the first national park in the world it is home to some of the most famous landmarks including Old Faithful Geyser.
Leg 6 Hot Spot: Leavenworth, WA
Ever since the change from a "normal town" to its current Bavarian motif, Leavenworth has become a pillar of the tourism industry in the Pacific Northwest. Today, close to two million tourists come to Leavenworth each year, each visitor finding their own individual love affair with the community.

Leg 6 - Last Stop before heading home: San Francisco, CA
best known for the rolling hills colored with eccentric architecture. The city is home to The Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most famous bridges in the world.
